In order to investigate the effects of Guizhifulingwan on thrombosis and elevated blood viscosity, rats which were orally administrated solid extract of Guizhifulingwan 400mg/200g(sample) were injeeted endotoxin into the cauda vein to make
experimental
thrombosis model and then observed platelet, fibinogen, prothrombin time and FDP level.
Another group injected hydrocortisone acetate into the muscular rump to make experimental elevated blood viscosity model orally administrated sample, thereafter measured whold blood viscosity and plasma viscosity.
@ES The results were summarized as follows:
@EN 1. Platelet was increased in sample compared wit the control group.
2. Fibrinogen was increased in smaple compared with the control group.
3. Prothrombin time was shortened significantly in sample compared with the control group.
4. FDP level was decreased significantly in sample compared with the control group.
5. Whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity were decreased significant effects on platelet. Fibrinogen, prothrombin time. FDP, whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity, therefore it seems to be applicable to disease related to thrombisis and
elevated blood viscosity.
